Austin became interested in fitness and bodybuilding while actively involved in the varsity wrestling program in high school. Beyond high school he was focused into the world of physique and performance enhancement. Austin dove right into competing at the age of 18 while finishing out his senior year of high school, going into freshman year of college. He started in the personal training space at 19 and coaching online shortly after. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in nutrition science with additional focus in psychology.

Now, Austin has a total of 15 years experience in the space. 

After dealing with many of his own health complications, Austin became deeply interested in the functional health space and began to implement functional medicine into his coaching model. He began producing regular educational content on all areas of functional health which later evolved into what is now IMH Education and the IMH Mentorship.

The IMH Mentorship program is one of the longest standing and most widely recognized educational services in this space. Focusing on all areas of functional health, physique enhancement and coaching psychology. Austin combines 15 years of experience and hands on work with hundreds of coaches to bring a comprehensive and unique approach to coaching education. He has also had the opportunity to speak at educational events in several different countries and appear on large podcast productions. In the coaching space, he works with a very wide variety of demographics. Everyone from IFBB pro bodybuilders to post-partum moms, autoimmune disease, GI dysfunction and everything in between. His goal with each client is to maximize each area of their programming through the use of science, anecdotal evidence, and practical experience. All while taking a practical and empathetic approach. The body and the mind are strongly interconnected and ensuring each body system works in unison is vital to success and long-term sustainability. Therefore, Austin integrates many functional health practices into his coaching approach with all demographics.
